Comedy in a Minor Key by Hans Keilson ( the author was a member of the Dutch Resistance)  As a psychiatrist, he pioneered the study of war trauma on children. He just celebrated his 100th birthday! This book just came out in English -the spring of 2011.

In the Garden Of Beasts by Erik Larson - gripping non-fiction, well-written and utterly fascinating.
