NEXT GENERATIONS & United States Holocaust Museum Present:

“Deadly Medicine and Bio-Ethical Responsibilities:” Nazi Germany & Mengele’s Experiments, Lessons for Today
 

Distinguished panel of experts will broadly examine the medical community’s ethical responsibilities from both a historical and contemporary perspectives. 

From 1933-1945, German physicians, scientists, public health officials and academic experts played a critical role in supporting and implementing Nazi racial hygiene policy.  Looking back at that history, they will discuss the controversial ethical issues our society and the medical community are debating today balancing the needs of society as a whole with the rights of individuals, and the ethical responsibility of the medical profession.

“An Evening with Madam F,” an artistic presentation of music with singing and acting which mirrors the struggles of women musicians in Auschwitz

Guest Speaker: Judith Goldstein, a Holocaust survivor who speaks about her life in the arts, “Painting on the Canvas of her Childhood and Singing the Images that She Sees”
